MyMedPlan, LLC (“MyMedPlan”) helps members with healthcare benefits, medical bills, insurance claims, coverage issues, denials, appeals, authorizations, pharmacy benefits, workers’ compensation matters when applicable, and related healthcare and insurance advocacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide (such as contact details, insurance and claim information, and documents you upload), information authorized parties disclose to us on your behalf, and technical information needed to operate the service (such as sign-in and security logs).
How we use information
We use information to provide advocacy and support services you request, communicate with plans, providers, and administrators when authorized, improve and secure the platform, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Sharing
We share information with parties you authorize (for example your health plan or a hospital billing office), with service providers bound by confidentiality and security requirements, and when required by law. Your employer does not automatically receive your personal medical records merely because they sponsor access to MyMedPlan.
Your choices
You may revoke authorizations as described in your account and in our authorization forms. You may contact us to request access, correction, or other rights available under applicable law.
Security
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to our role. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to protect information against unauthorized access and use.
